How do I save a TikTok without the watermark?
- Find the videoOpen TikTok on your phone or at tiktok.com. Play the clip once so you know it is the one you want.
- Copy its linkTap the Share arrow on the right side, then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address bar. Short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links work too.
- Paste and downloadDrop the link into the box above and press Download. Choose MP4, MP4 HD if it shows up, or MP3. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
SSSTikT is a small, independent web tool. It fetches the public version of a video from TikTok and passes the file straight to you, so nothing sits on our servers afterward. It behaves the same in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Samsung Internet, whether you're on a phone or a laptop. A few things it does well:

Saving TikTok videos on iPhone and Android
In the TikTok app, find the clip, tap Share and then Copy link.
Open this page in Safari or Chrome, not inside TikTok's or Instagram's built-in browser, which often blocks downloads. Paste the link and tap Download.
On iPhone the MP4 goes to Files > Downloads. Open it and tap Save Video to move it into Photos. Android phones put it in the Download folder.
Downloading TikTok on a Windows PC or Mac
Open the video on tiktok.com and copy the address from the browser bar, or use Share > Copy link.
Paste it into the box at the top and click Download. The standard MP4 uses H.264, so it plays in any media player.
The MP4 HD file uses HEVC. Macs play it as is, but some Windows PCs need Microsoft's free HEVC extension first. Linux and ChromeOS browsers work too.
SSSTikT or TikTok's own Save video button?
TikTok lets you save some videos directly. That copy has the TikTok logo and the creator's username burned into the picture, and the button disappears when a creator turns downloads off.

What it can't fetch
- Private accounts and friends-only posts
- Deleted, removed or region-locked videos

Is SSSTikT free to use?
Yes. There's no account, no trial and no paid tier. The only limit is a short pause if you paste a lot of links within a minute, which keeps the tool quick for everyone.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The whole tool runs in your web browser. Be wary of any TikTok downloader that asks for your TikTok password. We never will.
Where does the video go after I download it?
Wherever your browser saves downloads. That is usually the Downloads folder on a computer, Files > Downloads on iPhone and the Download folder on Android.
Do I need a TikTok account to use it?
No. You only need the link to a public video. You can even paste a link someone sent you without opening it in the app.
Can it save videos from private accounts?
No. Private, friends-only, deleted and region-locked videos can't be saved. A tool that claims otherwise is either mistaken or after your login.
What's the difference between MP4 and MP4 HD?
The MP4 button gives the H.264 version, which plays on almost anything. MP4 HD appears only when TikTok holds a sharper copy, often 720p or 1080p, encoded in HEVC (H.265).
Why won't the HD file play on my Windows PC?
Some Windows PCs can't decode HEVC out of the box. Install Microsoft's free HEVC video extension, or use the standard MP4 button, which plays everywhere.
Does the creator find out I saved their video?
No. The file is fetched without logging in to TikTok, so no account is attached to the download. Opening the clip in the app to copy its link still counts as a normal view.
Why is my file called ssstikt_ plus a long number?
The number is the TikTok video ID. It keeps every file name unique, so a second download doesn't overwrite the first.
Can I paste a photo slideshow link here?
Yes. For photo posts you get each image as a JPEG, a ZIP of all of them and the soundtrack. The Download TikTok Photos page explains the details.
How long does the download button stay active?
About 30 minutes after you paste the link. If it says the link expired, just paste it again.
