About SSSTikT

SSSTikT is a small web tool for saving public TikTok posts: videos as MP4 without the watermark, the soundtrack as MP3, and the images from photo posts. It works in any modern browser, with no app, extension or account.

How it works, in plain terms

  1. You paste a TikTok link.
  2. Our server looks up that public post, the same way a logged-out visitor's browser would.
  3. When you tap a download button, the file is streamed from TikTok through our server straight to your device. Audio is converted to MP3 on the way.

Nothing is stored. We keep a short-lived reference to the link for about 30 minutes so the download button works, then it's dropped. We never ask for your TikTok login, and we can't reach private, deleted or region-locked posts.

What we promise, and what we don't

  • The video is the best version TikTok serves, in HD when the original is HD. We don't upscale anything.
  • Photo post and Story support are newer and less reliable than video downloads. We say so on those pages.
  • The service is free and paid for by ads. There's a per-minute limit so it stays quick for everyone.

Independent, not affiliated

SSSTikT is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok, ByteDance, ssstik.io or SnapTik. "TikTok" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe what the tool works with.

Respecting creators

Most people use the tool to keep a recipe, a workout or their own posts offline. Reposting other people's work is a different matter, and our guide Is it legal to download TikTok videos? explains why. Rights holders can ask us to block specific links through our DMCA page.
